DASSANAYAKA YOGA CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so online at least 48 hours before the class begins, or your account will be debited for the class.
WHAT HOURS IS DASSANAYAKA YOGA OPEN?
We are open at least 15 minutes before the first class begins and we close 20-30 minutes after the last class ends. Please arrive early for early morning classes as the door closes promptly at class start time.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR CLASS?
Arrive at least 10 minutes before class. All group classes start promptly so for the safety and enjoyment of all participants you cannot enter class after the class starts. We have a strict 2 minute cut off time to account for the lift to get to the studio, if you arrive within the two minutes of the class start time you must be already in your outfit and ready to go straight in. If you arrive after, we are happy to early cancel you or try to find you an alternative class.
HOW DO I CHECK INTO CLASS?
Sign in at reception or use the express self sign-in station.
IS IT SAFE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN?
First of all, consult your doctor. You should consult a medical practitioner before attempting any exercise and particularly yoga, to ensure that you do not injure yourself.
Even if you have just found out you are pregnant, it is important to let the instructor know prior to every class, even if you have told them before. Please let reception know so we can note this on your profile and how many weeks. Your information is completely confidential. Pregnant clients need to avoid activities where they might get too hot, lying on their back, inversions, heavy lifting and various other exercises. We recommend just participating in beginner yoga only if you have had a consistent practice at our studio leading up to your pregnancy.
DO I NEED MY OWN MAT?
Yes, you will need a mat for all classes. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to secure a mat as classes are very popular or book in advance on our online booking system. However, you are welcome to bring your own mat and towel to class.
CAN PEOPLE UNDER 18 TAKE CLASSES?
We welcome practitioners of all shapes and sizes; however, our classes are not necessarily designed for children. Minors must have a signed parent/guardian release waiver on file to take a class unaccompanied.

YOGA RETREAT CANCELLATION POLICY
As our yoga retreat slots are limited and book out fast, we require deposits for slot reservations and the rest of the balance at least 60 days prior to the retreat. In all cases, due to the popularity and the extensive forward planning required by many participants, all payments is non-refundable.
In the unlikely event that Dassanayaka Yoga must cancel a yoga retreat due to weather, natural disaster or political upheaval, we cannot guarantee a refund as this will highly depend on receiving a refund from the venue and/or tour operator we work with. To cover these risks, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.
In the event a cancellation is made, Dassanayaka Yoga will not be liable for any other costs incurred such as airfare and other travel expenses. Again, we encourage you to arrange your own travel insurance.
There also won’t be any refunds due to leaving early or arriving late to the retreat.
Cancellations made through the website/app/email/phone will only take effect should there be someone to acknowledge it and as soon as cancellation fee has been paid which must be done right after the request has been made.
